When it comes to the food, one of the popular items has got to be the Carne Asada Taco which is a corn tortilla topped with their delicious carne asada (seitan), onions, cilantro and red house salsa. But if you feel like trying a few options, then ask for the 3 Taco plate where you get to mix and match proteins and toppings.

For an even more filling option, we recommend the Carnitas Burrito which consists of black beans, rice, pico de gallo, red house salsa and Carnitas (also known as jackfruit).

And if you’re after something healthier without the tortilla, then why not try the Protein Bowl? This dish is served with black beans, rice, pico de gallo, and your choice of protein in a bowl – super filling and incredibly tasty.

3. O’cado Restaurant

Modern eatery serving a fusion of American, Mediterranean and Latin inspired dishes, plus a tempting happy hour.

O’cado Restaurant is one of the most loved vegan restaurants in Sherman Oaks. Why? Best of all, they have Happy Hour Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm.

This contemporary restaurant has a very sleek decor, however what makes it more photo-worthy is the well-presented dishes. Those give you the impression of dining at an upscale restaurant, but thankfully without the hefty price tag.

We recommend starting with the O’Crab Cakes consisting of jackfruit, artichoke, farro and onion-poppy seed slaw or the crowd favorite – Brussel Sprouts cooked with house ‘bacon’, brown sugar and balsamic glaze.

One of the popular main dishes here is the Beyond Brat which is a pretzel bun topped with grilled onion & red pepper, dijon and vegenaise. And if you love tacos, then go for the Impossible Tacos with pico de gallo and avocado.
