Looking for a breakfast spot for those who wake up with a big appetite? Vunch Café is the ideal down-to-earth café for mouth-watering breakfast and even lunch in a laidback atmosphere.

Situated close to Jubilee Country Park, this unpretentious eatery is very passionate about being eco-friendly in its design, processes and menu.

And when it comes to their food, Vunch serves a large selection of globally-inspired plant-based dishes ranging from full English breakfast, pancakes, noodles, burgers, wraps, salads, to healthy bowls.

We highly recommend trying their 100% vegan Vunch Full English which consists of grilled sausages, bacon, hash browns, baked
beans, mushrooms, avocado and cherry tomato. For those with a sweet tooth in the morning, the American Style Pancakes where you get to choose any toppings of your choice.

But for those who are in a rush and want a quick bite, the Hummus ‘N Falafel Wrap is a delicious pick which is packed with hummu, falafel, spinach and sweet chilli sauce. For a nutrient-dense dish, the Moroccan Salad is an excellent choice. This salad is prepared with fresh mixed leaf salad, grains, hummus, falafel, artichoke, olives and balsamic glaze.

And for lunch, one of the popular choices is the Korean Chick ‘N Noodles which is prepared with their speciality sticky Korean sauce, mixed peppers, mangetout, baby corn and walnuts. 2. Wagamama Bromley

This Asian-inspired and Japanese chain restaurant with a lively ambience offers some moreish ramen dishes which will keep you coming back for more!

Who doesn’t love a classic Wagamama? But many might not know that this Asian-inspired and Japanese chain restaurant greatly caters to vegans, as well as vegetarians.

So whether you’re having a night out with friends or family, you’ve got to try their excellent selection of plant-based and vegetarian dishes which are all full of flavour and aromas.

You’ll find that this super lively restaurant has a shoulder-to-shoulder seating arrangement similar to other Wagamamas around the UK – way to make new friends if you feel like it!

You’ll find many vegan and vegetarian choices on the menu, but one of the stand out options are the Yasai Gyoza which consists of five steamed yasai gyoza, udon noodles, vegetable broth, roasted bok choi, chilli sambal paste, spring onion, coriander, chilli oil and a side of gyoza sauce.

Another excellent vegan ramen well worth trying is the Teriyaki Vegan ‘Chicken’ Ramen which is prepared with seasoned soya protein in a spicy teriyaki sauce, udon noodles, sweetcorn, bok choi, chilli sambal paste, spring onion, chilli, coriander, chilli oil and vegetable broth.

Wagamama is open Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 11am to 10pm, as well as Friday and Saturday from 11am to 11pm.

3. Havet Restaurant

A super spacious Turkish restaurant loved by locals for the affordable lunch options, as well as dishes full of flavour.

Located just a short walking distance from Bromley Park and Churchill Theatre, Havet Restaurant is a highly acclaimed Turkish restaurant boasting modern decor and an appetizing selection of hot and cold meze.

Walk into this very spacious restaurant and grab a seat in their booth, or if you want a intimate dining, then choose their other areas which are separate from the main dining space.

Although not an exclusively vegan or vegetarian, Havet has the few plant-based and vegetarian options which are definitely worth digging into. The contemporary interior is minimal, with some beautiful decor thanks to the hanging lights and hanging wall art.

If you’re visiting for lunch, you can get your hands on any item at £10.95 on weekdays until 4pm. The popular vegetarian lunch item is the Vegetable Tagine which is a slow cooked stew of baby potatoes, aubergines, carrots, onions, parsnips, peppers and chick peas, blended with traditional tagine spices.

We recommend their Vegetable Shish which consists of aubergines, peppers, courgettes, onions, and mushrooms, then grilled over their Mangal (barbecue style) and served on a bed of tomato and pomegranate sauce.

One of their popular salad choices is the Mediterranean Salad which is packed with chopped tomato, onion, mixed lettuce and parsley, topped with feta cheese, extra virgin olive oil and lemon.

A lively restaurant with upbeat music serving very healthy and nutritious internationally-inspired dishes well worth trying!

Although located just a short distance from Bromley, we just had to include Eatwell on our list of vegan and vegetarian restaurants in Bromley for the nutrient-dense and wholesome dishes on offer here.

This health food restaurant is well known among locals, so you can expect excellent dishes full of flavour, as well as packed with highly nutritious ingredients.

But this eatery’s charm doesn’t just end there! The staff here are very friendly and accommodating and even the ambience in the restaurant is lively thanks to the fun music and laidback feel.

The breakfast menu which is served until midday has a tempting selection for vegans and vegetarians alike. We think vegans will love their super filling Vegan Breakfast which consists of 2 vegan sausages, vegan ‘bacon’, spinach, grilled vine tomato, wild and chestnut mushrooms, artisan toast and scrambled tofu.

As for vegetarians, the Chipotle Eggs Benedict is a great pick as this dish is a Mexican chipotle packed with sweet potato, eggs benedict and smashed avocado.

If you’re here for lunch, brunch or dinner with friends and family, we highly recommend Vegan Sharing Platter which consists of flat bread, fresh cut veg, babaganoush, hummus, homemade labneh, guacamole, olives, roasted peppers and falafel. Vegetarians can request for some delicious grilled halloumi instead of falafels.

Vegans rarely get to dig into some Shepherd’s Pie, but Eatwell has an incredible one packed with shiitake mushrooms, carrots and butternut squash and green lentil in a white miso paste topped with fluffy mash and served with a mixed leaf salad.

As for vegetarians, a very satisfying option is their Burrito With Pineapple Salsa consisting of red rice, black turtle beans, mixed pepper, cheese, sweetcorn, green tomatillo and pineapple salsa

Eatwell is open Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 9am to 9pm, as well as Friday and Saturday from 9am to 10pm.

Want to have a taste of authentic cuisine of Nepal and India at a super affordable price? Well, we’ve got the ideal spot for Nepalese and Indian food lovers – Mount Everest Restaurant beautifully showcases these regions’ dishes that are full of flavour, hearty and healthy.

This laidback restaurant has an inviting atmosphere with booth seating and some traditional decors dotted around. Although not an exclusively vegan eatery, you can find many dishes that caters greatly to vegetarians, including tasty biryani, tandoor specialities, curries and delightful sides.

For starters, we recommend going for the Paneer Tikka which is prepared with cottage cheese and spices and then barbequed. Another delicious starter is Onion Bhaji which is chopped onion coated with gram flour and deep fried.

For mains, one of the all-time favourites is the one included in their chef recommendations section. Although it is quite a spicy option, the Paneer Chilli is well worth getting your hand on if you can handle the spice of course! This dish consists of cottage cheese cooked with green chilli, spring onion, fresh ginger, green pepper and tomatoes.

From the mains section, their Veg Jalfrezi is a great pick which is cooked with onions, green peppers, green chilli, coriander and fresh tomato.

Another must-try is the Vegetable Korma which consists of varieties of veg cooked with cashew powder in a mild creamy sauce. Pair those with their Brinjal Aloo which is a sweet and sour aubergine and potato for the ultimate combination.
