Located in Cook County, Illinois, Orland Park is a quaint village with plenty going on. It’s also becoming well known for its plethora of shopping opportunities and outstanding restaurants, ideal for indulging in some excellent food after a bit of retail therapy.

Unfortunately there aren’t many exclusively vegan restaurants in Orland Park, but luckily we’ve explored all the possible options so you don’t have to! This list includes exclusively vegan restaurants, vegan and vegetarian restaurants, as well as three vegan-friendly restaurants that are well worth visiting.

Unlike other sites, we make sure that all the restaurants that are featured are open and properly cater to the vegan community. So you’ll be able to tuck into food that’s clearly labelled vegan and doesn’t contain any animal products.

So let’s get it started!

Five Exceptional Vegan Restaurants In Orland Park: Food Worth Waiting For!

1. Vegan T’ease

As vegans, we sometimes have to settle for quite bland food when dining out as some restaurants don’t make the effort. But with the excellent internationally-inspired vegan food on offer at Vegan T’ease, you’ll get to enjoy a fantastic fusion of flavors, seasonings and aromas in every dish!

Located just a short walk from Orland Park Recreation Administration, Vegan T’ease is the ideal stop for refueling after your adventures.

Expect to be greeted with smiling faces as you walk into this place and that smile will likely rub off on you thanks to the staff’s contagious enthusiasm, friendliness and high spirit. This back-to-basics restaurant might not have standout decor, but their creativity is certainly shown through their food.

One of the dishes we recommend trying is their popular ‘Vegan Gyro’ which is prepared with vegan ‘lamb’, tomatoes, grilled onions, bell peppers, lettuce, and topped with T’s homemade tzatziki sauce. Another dish worth trying is the ‘Ta Ta Taco’s’ which consists of vegan ‘meat’, cheese, sauce, lettuce and tomatoes.

Do check out their daily specials and an assortment of tasty smoothies such as their Reesies Cup and T’s Bellie Gone Pineapple smoothies – they’re well worth it!

Vegan T’ease is open Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 8:30pm, but is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays.

2. Can’t Believe It’s Not Meat

Serving up exceptional American comfort food, authentic Mexican dishes, and exquisite pizzas, it’s no doubt that this vegetarian and vegan restaurant is popular amongst locals!

Can’t Believe It’s Not Meat has a super chilled atmosphere, although the neon lights add pops of color to the space. The friendliness, warmth and professionalism of the team here, along with their incredibly delicious vegan food, are what makes this eatery stand out on our list of vegan restaurants in Orland Park.

Whether you’re a vegan, on the fence about converting to veganism, or just want to enjoy some plant-based fare with your family and friends, this place will leave you impressed by the flavors, quality ingredients and seasonings used to prepare their faux meats and other vegan dishes.

One of the dishes worth trying is their Shrimp Po Boy which is topped with their house made sauce, topped with tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. The Chik’n Philly is also well worth trying for the fusion of ingredients like meatless chik’n protein, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, vegan mayo, and vegan mozzarella cheese.

But if you’re craving pizza, don’t miss out on their delicious Pepperoni Lovers Pizza which consists of vegan pepperoni – why not add some vegan sausage whilst you’re at it?

3. Clean Eatz

Are you looking for a fantastic comfort food that’s also healthy? Well, we’ve got you covered with this pick. Clean Eatz offers healthy, nutritious, comfort food dishes that’ll help you get your 5 a day!

Although not exclusively vegan, we had to add Clean Eatz on our list of vegan restaurants in Orland Park for the fresh, farm-to-table ingredients used in each dish, as well as the endless combinations you can create thanks to their ‘Build your own Bowl’ concept.

Their ‘Build Your Own Bowl’ concept means that you choose your size and get creative with the combination of ingredients to create your own healthy masterpiece. This includes you choosing your preferred base, protein, 3 vegetables and 3 toppings.

But they also have other options too, like burgers, wraps, and flatbreads.

As for those burgers, they’ve got three selections of burgers such as the Chipotle, Clean Eatz or Teriyaki Burger and you just have to choose your protein of choice. In our case that will be the black bean patty as it’s vegan.

Clean Eatz is open during weekdays from 11am to 7pm and on weekends from 11am to 3pm.

4. Blissful Banana Cafe

Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or brunch, Blissful Banana Cafe is a great place by to stop for some food – especially after golf! Why? Well, it’s located just a short walk from Space Golf which is a super fun indoor golf course.

Although not solely vegan, this cafe has some tasty vegan options and is well worth including on our list of vegan restaurants in Orland Park for their globally-inspired dishes, incredible vegan burgers and pleasant atmosphere.

You won’t have loads of options for breakfast here, but the one on offer is packed full of flavor. The vegan breakfast dish at Blissful Banana is the ‘Snarf’s Vegan Scramble’, which is made with Moroccan spiced chickpea scramble and topped with avocado.

As for lunch or dinner they have far more options for vegans. One of the popular dishes is the Vegan Portabella Burger which is prepared with marinated portabella mushroom, avocado, tomato, red onion and spinach. We also recommend their Vegan Acorn Squash which is topped with rice, beans, avocado, vegan chorizo and cilantro.

Blissful Banana Cafe is open everyday from 8am to 3pm.

5. Pita Pita Mediterranean Grill

In our opinion, Mediterranean cuisine always hits the spot when dining out, and it’s always an added bonus when you can enjoy it at a reasonable price!

That’s why we had to recommend Pita Pita Mediterranean Grill, a restaurant which also has very accommodating staff and Instagram-worthy vegan dishes.

This vegan-friendly restaurant in Orland Park has an excellent Fattoush Salad which is prepared with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, parsley and mint, mixed with baked pita chips and dressed with fresh lemon and olive oil. So that’s worth trying.

But for something heartier, go for the All Veggie Plate. You can make this dish vegan by substituting the rice with hummus or Baba Ghannouj. This dish also has chopped tomatoes, peppers, onions, and eggplant sautéed together with garlic and spices in a tomato base.

Pita Pita Mediterranean Grill is open Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 11am to 9pm, and on Friday and Saturday from 11am to 10pm.
